Hulk Hogan was a lot of things to a lot of people.

Hogan, the wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer, died at age 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home.

His sudden death brought upon a wave of emotions from every corner of the Earth.

Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died just a month after rumors swirled about his ailing health, including that he was on his “deathbed.”

Now we are finding out some inside information on how he was feeling before his death.

The Daily Mail exclusively reported that Hulk Hogan was already ‘heartbroken’ months before his fatal cardiac arrest. He and his daughter, Brooke, had gone eight years without speaking.

“The last few months of Hogan’s life had a lot more ups than downs,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

“There was a little strain with his daughter and their relationship that had taken quite the emotional toll, but he always thought he would eventually be able to rectify that.”

Unfortunately, they would never get the chance to as his sudden death had those closest to him in complete shock.

‘He was still extremely close to his son,’ our source added. ‘It is a surprise and doesn’t feel real at all to his family and friends.’

Another insider stated that his time in the wrestling ring also took a toll on him, leaving the athlete with ‘the body of a 140-year-old man.’

It has since been reported that Brooke was grateful that she was able to tell her father, Hulk Hogan, that she loved him in their last conversation before his passing.

There is a chance that many close to Hulk knew his time might be up soon.

Five days before Hulk Hogan’s sudden death at age 71, his ex-wife, Linda Hogan, reminisced about their past.

“The good old days!” Linda wrote on Instagram alongside an image from their 26-year marriage.

This came months after Linda went on a rant and shared that the family they built together was fractured and that she was estranged from Brooke.

“It’s been 15-however long years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess,” Linda said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on March 26.
